Encore Music Studios Enrichment Class
Music Theory and Aural Training

Leah Amarosa will be teaching the Encore Enrichment Class "Music Theory and Aural Training" for all ages and levels.  The Class will last 1 hour each week at the same day and time and begin in March online through Zoom.  The purpose of this class is to provide a comprehensive and systematic ongoing training program for all our music students in music theory concepts and knowledge as well as to sharpen listening skills and analytical abilities.  It will create a more well-rounded and confident music student as well as improve skills which include sight-singing, improvisation, composition, sight-reading, form and analysis, and more.

The Aural(Ear) Training aspect is an extension of many of the concepts such as chord identification, interval identification, scale identification.  The students will listen to excerpts of music and determine the tonality as well as take rhythmic and melodic dictation.  If you are interested in providing this additional educational opportunity for your child or yourself, fill out the form below.  The class is $80/month, however all current Encore students receive a 50% discount bringing the tuition to $40/month(or $10/hr of instruction).  Additionally, if you signup for March, the tuition is waived for the first month and you will only pay the one-time registration fee of $25.  Please seriously consider this option as we feel it will further Encore's mission of providing excellent and enriching music education for all our students!
