Encore Students, Families, and Teachers,
We are well into this 3rd month of this year and are excited about new offerings at Encore and The Columbus and Westerville Academies of Music! The Online Music Theory and Aural Training Enrichment Class kicked off on Saturday, March 6th at noon under the leadership of Leah Amarosa. Our Group Strings Enrichment Class meets for the first time tomorrow night(March 11th) from 6:30-7:30 pm with teacher Aaron Schwartz at 2732 Sawbury Blvd. Columbus, OH 43235. Our Online Spring Recital Watch Parties shown on our Youtube Channel, will be premiered Saturday, May 8th at 10:00 am, 11:00 am, and 12:00 pm. SAVE the DATE! These opportunities to focus study on 1 or 2 songs for 2 months or longer provide a unique performance experience for each student. We have pushed back our publish date for the New Encore Website to March. We want to make sure it is of the same standard of excellence we expect from our teachers, students, and customer service before launch!
We expect to be able to fully return to in-studio lessons for all who wish to do so by summer 2021! Thanks for your patience through this adventure. I believe the limitations imposed on us for the past year are set to expire step by step over the next few months! As the weather warms and are hearts anticipate more freedom, we desire to provide more opportunities for group participation in musical activities and study. I hope we never take for granted the freedom of assembly granted by the Constitution. A special thanks to all the healthcare workers among our parents and Encore families during this time!
